Technology can help teachers develop as professional educators by providing such resources as online courses, which is useful for those educators who work in rural school districts. Additionally, for those teachers that are new to utilizing technology in their classroom, professional growth experiences can be useful as teachers learn how to incorporate technology into their lesson planning.
